What we offer
At Yongo, our relationship with our teachers goes beyond the business relationship.
One of the things that makes Yongo different from other agencies is that we actually maintain an active relationship with our teachers overseas. Not only do we guide you though the application, placement and visa obtention process, we also extend our services to you after your arrival in Korea. We know that adapting to living and working in a foreign country can be difficult at first, so we believe it’s important to provide you with the information and support you need to get adjusted to your new surroundings.
We can also assist you in personal aspects of your life. We can help you to adjust to the culture and to make inroads into the Korean and Expat community in your area. We will gladly answer any of your questions or help you with any transportation or translation you may require. In short, we’ll be there for you if you need us once you get to Korea. And we think that as teachers, it’s important to know that before you commit to a year of teaching overseas.
At Yongo, we take steps to ensure your job satisfaction prior to the finalization of your contract. We confirm the credibility of prospective employers through direct interviews with school directors and their foreign staff. The truth is that the only way to make sure a school is reputable is to physically go there and talk to the people who run it. We take this responsibility very seriously and will not hesitate to discontinue our relationship with any school that doesn’t meet our standards.
As part of our commitment to you, Yongo itself guarantees the "Basic Necessities" in any ESL contract we arrange for our teachers. These include:
